Undoubtedly the world will return to their eyes on our country, as it did last May with the Bicentennial, and as surely as will the July 9, 2016 for the bicentennial of our independence. In 2036 the world set their sights on our city.

The challenge is to begin now to plan the future of our education, our health, our justice, our security, our way of being moved, and the way we work. We must begin now to plan our quality of life. Having a target a quarter-century away, is a major challenge to dream city of 500 years.
